Tim Gowin
Tim is originally from Southern California, but has called Tulsa home for the past 15 years. He has 20 years of non-profit experience including 12 years in the Tulsa community serving at Youth Services of Tulsa, Emergency Infant Services and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma. Tim is a graduate of Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) and is married to his lovely wife, Heather of 22 years. They have a son, CJ (19), and a daughter, Kaylee (13).
Tim is an engaging and innovative leader who has served in non-profit leadership for over 25 years. Originally from California, he has called Tulsa home for the past 18 years and has been committed and passionate in serving the community, leading crisis intervention programs at Youth Services of Tulsa, Emergency Infant Services and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma.
In his role as Programs Manager, Tim orchestrates professional development and immersion events for both Tulsa Service Year (TSY) Fellows and Campus Tulsa Interns, provides one-on-one mentorship, and facilitates Tulsa community connections to help the program members grow professionally and personally.
Tim earned a BS in Human Development and Family Science at Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!). In his free time, Tim enjoys traveling with his family, going to movies, reading books, and working out.
